Stephen Curry

Don't leave this guy open, especially at the 3pt line, you'll be sorry if you did. The reigning 3pt king in the NBA continues to drop 3pt bombs at a high rate this season. He's one of the players that's really hard to guard, he makes those ridiculous off-the-dribble threes, he'll try crossovers, behind-the-backs, in-and-out dribbles before launching his specialty of the house.

He's a new breed, I've never seen a player, particularly a guard that has a skillset like he has. Reggie Miller and Ray Allen were the greatest shooters in basketball, but mostly their shots were aided by tons of screens. They're more of like a catch and shoot type of players, although I've seen Ray were able to create his own shot behind the arc when he was younger, and we all know what Reggie can do when its Miller time, and Steph is catching up to them...fast.

The only downside for now is his turnovers per game. He really needs to take more care of the ball. He currently leads this category in the 2013-2014 season. I think the Warriors badly need a point guard (Andre Miller, anyone?) and move Steph to the shooting guard position where he is more effective and deadly.

Last season (2012-2013) was a special season for Steph, where he led the NBA in 3pts made (272 made out of 600) and made history by breaking Ray Allen's single-season record of 269. The Warriors also made it past the first round of the playoffs by beating the Denver Nuggets (4-2) and eventually losing a tightly contested series to the San Antonio Spurs (2-4).
